Life Skills Tutoring

In a constantly changing environment, having the skills to navigate and meet every day challenges is essential for young people to become healthy and successful individuals.

The development of life skills helps young people to: 


  • Find new ways of thinking and problem solving

  • Be able to organise their time effectively

  • Resist peer pressure

  • Understand the options available to them

  • Understand the conseqences of risky decisions

  • Develop a greater sense of self-awareness and appreciation for others

  • Understand their personal and social responsibilities 

I run Life skills sessions for young people aged 7-18, sessions typically run for 60 minutes and have the option to be a stand alone tutoring session or be doubled-up with Life Coaching or Lego®-based Coaching session.

I cover a range of topics to develop young peoples awareness of the world and their independant skills, these can range from:

  • Emotional Literacy

  • Drugs Education

  • Healthy Lifestyles

  • Interview skills

  • Careers/Next Steps advice

  • Study skills

  • Independent living

  • Transition support

  • Organisational skills

  • Relationships/Sex Education

  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
